Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe inspects preparations on school reopening

The MoE Union Minister, Deputy Ministers and officials inspect the preparations to reopen the schools in Nay Pyi Taw on 24 February 2021.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, accompanied by Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint, U Zaw Win and other officials, inspected the preparations for reopening of schools in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Union Minister checked the preparedness of No (12) B.E.H.S in Ottarathiri, No (13) B.E.H.S and Yay Pyar Branch B.E.H.S in Pobbathiri.

During the inspection, Union Minister met the respective education officers, headmasters and teachers, and stressed the need to follow the COVID-19 health rules.

He also highlighted the preparedness of schools to reopen in accordance with the COVID-19 health rules, good image of the school, cleanliness of schools’ surrounding, upgrade of classrooms, teaching aid materials and toilets to improve the wills of students in their study including plans to provide housings for teachers.

He then emphasized the duties of teachers for being civil services, cooperation to promote the education, capacity building plans for teachers, effective teaching methods and managements to reopen the schools.

The Union Minister and party inspected the schools’ compounds and instructed the necessary things.—MNA
