Weapons, ammunition confiscated in Mongyai of Shan State

A joint team of security forces confiscated a total of 9 guns and 54 rounds of ammunition in a car while conducting a search operation in Mongyai Township, Lashio District in Northern Shan State yesterday afternoon.
The vehicle involved in the armed trafficking was a white colour Crown Athlete (1J-1547) and Sai Lin Aung Khaing (23 years old), the driver, his wife Nan Mo Aye (20 years old), who both live in Muse, and Sai Soe Moe Aung (21 years old) who lives in Namhkam Township, are being prosecuted under the law at the township police station. – Khin Mar Lar/GNLM
