Yangon-Bagan up/down trains scheduled to resume running as from 24 January

The Yangon-Bagan up/down trains will resume operations on 24 January, according to the Myanma Railways.
The Yangon-Bagan express train service was temporarily suspended, and it will resume as from 24 January, in order to facilitate the convenient travel of passengers. No 61 up Yangon-Bagan train will start running on 23 January and the No 62 down train on 24 January.
According to the schedules of Myanma Railways, No 61 up train will leave Yangon Railway Station at 4:15 pm and arrive at Bagan station at 12 noon the next day and No 62 down train will depart from Bagan station at 4:15 pm and arrive back at Yangon Railway Station at 12 noon the next day.
Yangon Station will sell upper class tickets three days in advance and ordinary class tickets one day in advance. Ticket prices for ordinary class are set at K 7,200, upper class K 14,400 and upper class bunks K 19,800.
The train will stop over at Thayawady, Letpadan, Minhla, Okpo, Gyobingauk, Zigon, Nattalin, Paungde, Padigon, Sinmyeeswe, Shwedaga, Aunglan, Satthwa, Taungdwingyi, Myothit, Natmauk, Layein, Thahmar, Pinchaung, Kyaukpadaung, Ngaminmae and Suti stations.—TWA/KZW
