YCDC Chairman inspects development activities in Dagon Myothit townships

Chairman of the Yangon City Development Committee Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay, accompanied by Vice-Mayor, Secretary, Committee members, and relevant officials, inspected the leveling of the Betan creek banks after completing excavation to straighten the curve of the creek in Sport Complex in ward (27), Dagon Myothit (North) Township yesterday.
Afterwards, the Mayor and party visited the Dagon Myothit (South) Township Public Rental Housing Project site and inspected the housing construction.
The project is being implemented on the 171 acres of land on the road to Thayatpin Chaung village from No (2) Highway and No (7) Highway intersection. As the first phase, 194 buildings, 3,104 units are under construction.
The Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation and the Myanmar Licensed Contractors Association (MLCA) are constructing 97 buildings each, which is now 48 % complete.
The Mayor and party also inspected the extension of concrete paving to widen 46 feet 4-lane road at No (7) Highway between the No (2) Highway in Dagon Myothit (South) Township and Bayintnaung Road in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township, and the concrete mixer of the Engineering Department on Pyidaungsu Road in Thingangyun Township and made necessary orders.—MNA
