Ye Htet Aung uplifts title in SINGHA-SAT Nakhon Ratchasima Classic 2023 of Thailand PGA Tour

Myanmar professional golfer Ye Htet Aung clinched the title in the SINGHA-SAT Nakhon Ratchasima Classic 2023 which is one of the Thailand PGA Tours, taking place at Khao Yai Country Club of Thailand from 28 June to 1 July.
Ye Htet Aung scored 12 under par 261 strokes on four rounds, followed by Sangchai Kaewcharoen of Thailand in the second position and Suttinon Panyo and Thanyakon Khrongpha of Thailand in the joint third position.
Champion Ye Htet Aung secured the trophy and cash award 240,000 baht.
Aung San Myo of Myanmar took the 45th position with six under par 278 strokes on the four rounds.
A total of 132 professional golfers participated in the tournament. Starting time of the final round was adjourned due to heavy rains.
Ye Htet Aung has been taking part in the Asian Tours and other international golf tours since 2016. His championship title in the SINGHA-SAT Nakhon Ratchasima Classic 2023 was the first-ever championship title in his career.
This year, Ye Htet Aung, Thiha Htay, Aung San Myo and Kyaw Thet Oo are allowed to take part in the All Thailand Golf Tours. — Ko Nyi Lay/TTA
