YRG to accept applications for constructing Thingyan pavilions in Yangon Region

The Yangon Regional Government has announced that applications for constructing pavilions for the Maha Thingyan Water Festival 2023 are now being accepted.
The dimensions of family pavilions and entertainment pavilions will be determined depending on the availability of water and traffic congestion.
Applications, along with the approvals of the General Administration Department in relevant townships and districts, will have to be submitted to the Engineering Department (Roads and Bridges) of the Yangon City Development Committee.
It is mentioned in the statement that the construction work will have to begin only after receiving the permission of the Yangon Region government office.
The applications should be made between 9 and 31 March and late applications will not be considered, according to the statement from the Yangon Region government. — TWA/CT
