YRTC to control parking of taxis, vehicles at 18 YBS stops in Yangon

Parking of taxis and other vehicles at 18 bus stops in Yangon will be controlled in a disciplinary manner, according to the coordination meeting on road and traffic safety, research and health in Yangon Region.
Due to the parking of taxis and other vehicles, YBS buses stopped to pick up and drop off passengers only in the middle of the lane, according to field inspections by officials of the Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC).
Therefore, disciplinary measures will be taken at 18 bus stops in Yangon: Myanmar Plaza bus stop, Kaba Aye Pagoda Road bus stop, Thamine Junction bus stop, Junction 8 bus stop, Thamine Station Road bus stop, Bayintnaung Junction bus stop, 9-Mile bus stop on Pyay Road, 10-Mile bus stop, Sawbwagyigon bus stop, Danyingon bus stop, New Thiri Mingala Market bus stop, Kyimyindine Night Bazaar bus stop, Yuzana Plaza bus stop on Banya Dala Road, Bogyoke Bazaar bus stop on Bogyoke Aung San Road, Bar Street bus stop on Anawrahta Road, Pansodan bus stop on Mahabandula Road, Botahtaung Pagoda bus stop on Strand Road, Myaynigon bus stop on Bargaya Road. — TWA/GNLM
