Zaycho market shop owners to participate in Thingyan Festival at Zaychothu pavilion

According to U Thet Naing, the Head of Department of the Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC), shop owners from markets under the jurisdiction of MCDC will participate in the water festival at the Zaychothu Thingyan pavilion during the Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival of 1385 Myanmar New Year.
The Zaychothu Thingyan pavilion is set to be constructed at 26th Street, between 84th and 85th Street, providing an opportunity for people from markets under MCDC’s administration to join in the water festival festivities together.
U Thet Naing stated, “The Zaychothu Thingyan pavilion is a collaboration between Zaychothu marketers and the Mandalay City Development Committee. Marketers from a total of 40 markets will come together to celebrate Thingyan joyously. There will be performances at the pavilion.”
