16th Kason Water-Pouring Event held at Uppatasanti Pagoda

The 16th Kason Water-Pouring Event was held near banyan trees inside the compound of the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The event was joined by union ministers, officials, and their wives. Union ministers and their wives, along with participants, first poured water on small banyan trees in the Uppatasanti Pagoda compound, and the master of the ceremony recited a mantra named Maha Bodhi Rokha Thisanapusa. They then sprinkled banyan trees with scented water and paid homage to the trees by clockwise procession. — MNA/KZL
