As a national-level event, the Ministry of Education is organising the 23rd Arts and Science Research Conference at Naypyitaw State Academy from 25 to 27 January. On the morning of 27 January, researchers presented their papers in designated subject rooms, while various universities showcased research posters and displays.
The research papers were reviewed and supported by notable figures, including Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and Dr Moe Zaw Tun, Permanent Secretary Dr Soe Win, directors-general, deputy directors-general, pro-rectors, and officials.
During the Arts and Science Research Conference on 27 January, researchers from six universities and other ministries presented various papers. These included seven papers in English, one in language research, five in chemistry, five in physics, four in mathematics, three in computer science, three in marine science, three in environmental studies, four in archaeology, three in anthropology, five in international studies, three in oriental studies, four in industrial chemistry, three in travel studies, and two in bibliography.
Sixty-one research papers on arts and sciences were presented and discussed on 27 January. The attendees included the chairman and officials of the Myanmar Academy of Arts and Sciences, authors, professors, teachers, and students. — MNA/TKO
