300+ non-operational small industries deregistered in 3 months

A total of 338 small-scale industries which could not operate for various reasons were cancelled from the registration list and a total of 463 businesses were registered during the three months from April to June of the financial year 2023-24, according to the Department of Small-Scale Industries under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development.
During the financial year 2022-2023, a total of 100 non-operational small-scale industries were cancelled from the registration list.
Currently, a total of 19,526 small-scale industries registered with the Department of Small-Scale Industries up to June of the financial year 2023-2024 are in operation. — TWA/MKKS
