86 Myanmar migrant workers return from Thailand via Kawthoung

A total of 86 Myanmar migrant workers – 71 men and 15 women – who had served time in Thailand for various offences arrived back in Kawthoung on 3 July.
They were allowed to return after being tested for Covid-19 and undergoing required tests. Those who tested positive were quarantined at Kawthoung General Hospital and those who tested negative were transported back to their hometowns.
Also on 21 June, a total of 216 Myanmar citizens returned home from Thailand through the Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady. —TWA/KZW
