Over 1,200 prizes of 41st Aung Bar Lay Lottery to be kept as confiscated finance

The Aung Bar Lay Lottery Directorate of the Internal Revenue Department has announced that a total of unclaimed 1,200 prizes of the 41st Aung Bar Lay Lottery, including a K5 million prize, will be kept as confiscated finance if there are not drawn by the end of July.
In the opening of the 41st Aung Bar Lay Lottery on 1 August 2022, a total of 1,249 prizes have not been drawn to date. They include one prize of K5 million, two prizes of K2 million, two prizes of K1 million, five prizes of K300,000, 68 prizes of K200,000, 365 prizes of K100,000 and 806 prizes of K50,000.
The winning lottery tickets can be submitted to the Aung Bar Lay Lottery Branches in Yangon and Mandalay before 31 July 2023 for the cash awards or they will be kept as State finance if they are not drawn until 1 July 2023.
In June 2023, the sales of Aung Bar Lay Lottery tickets and Aung Bar Lay Online Lottery reached K5,176.703 million and the sale increased by K100 million compared with the sale in May.
Due to the increase of sale, a prize of K 200 million was added in the opening of Aung Bar Lay Lottery on 1 July.—TWA/MKKS
