Findings on printing ballot papers used in General Election on 8 November 2020 (23 February 2021)

1. The Union Election Commission has inspected printing ballot papers used in the General Election that took place on 8 November 2020, in making contract with the

Ministry of Information. A total of 138,460,270 ballot tickets were initially printed on 1-9-2020, and more ballot papers were printed for 9 times due to the needs of region/state election sub-commissions, including Yangon Region Election Commission for two times on 7 November 2020 (one day ahead of election day).

2. Numbers of ballot papers printed for the respective Hluttaw elections were as follow:
(a) Pyithu Hluttaw 44,169,344
(b) Amyotha Hluttaw 44,148,229
(c) Region/State Hluttaw 43,295,374
(d) Ethnic people Hluttaw 7,718,173
Total 139,331,120

3. Initial printing and additional printing of ballot papers for respective areas were as follow:
