People pray at religious buildings; market and public services resume operations

Pilgrims are paying homage at the pagodas and temples across the countries, including at the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Maha Muni Pagoda in Mandalay and Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.
It is also reported that people come and pray at their respective religious buildings peacefully.
Religious temples, buildings, and monuments belonging to the respective religions, including Buddhist temples and pagodas, were reopened according to the COVID-19 health guidelines since 8 February.
Moreover, markets in cities including Yangon and Mandalay are filled with shoppers and sellers. Banks, hospitals, flights, trains, cruise and buses have resumed operation, and buses in Yangon Region, are running every day for the convenience of the public. — MNA
