Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Vice-Chairman of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) U Aung Naing Oo visited the investment of manufacturing high quality pharmaceuticals in Yangon Region with departmental officials this morning.
During inspection the responsible personnel from the industry explained the conditions of the operation, the operational challenges and investment issues. Then, the Union Minister encouraged and discussed to improve productivity, to manufacture import substitute high-quality pharmaceuticals, to carry out more research activities and to expand market availability. In addition, the Union Minister also coordinated the difficulties and operational challenges of the industry at the end of the meeting.
In the afternoon, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo accompanied by the Union Minister for Commerce, Chairman of the central working body of Myanmar Special Economic Zones, Dr Pwint San and departmental officials inspected the Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ). —MNA
