MRTV monsoon tree-planting ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw

The monsoon tree-planting ceremony of the Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV), the Ministry of Information, was held yesterday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.
Union Minister for Information U Chitt Naing first planted the gum-kino tree (Padauk), and Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and departmental officials planted seedlings at the designated places in the MRTV compound.
A total of 600 seedlings of various trees were planted at yesterday ceremony and a total of 2,000 seedlings and trees have been planted in this rainy season.
Afterwards, the Union Minister and party inspected the May Yu FM broadcasting on Radio Transmitter-1, the preparation for broadcasting on Radio Transmitter-2, the construction of MRTV Diamond Jubilee Museum, and the cartoon filmmaking course of MRTV. —MNA
