Oxygen Plant (Oxymet) installed aboard Tatmadaw vessel gives oxygen to public

As the Ministry of Health and Sports is stepping up the installation of oxygen plants in each region and state to fulfil the need for oxygen, the Tatmadaw is also installing and producing oxygen plants in various areas of the military headquarters and distributing them to public hospitals and Covid-19 medical centres, said Tatmadaw officials.
The Oxygen Plant (Oxymet) that is mounted onboard the Marine Hospital vessel (Thanlwin), supplies and distributes oxygen to public hospitals and social organizations in Yangon Region, Tatmadaw officials said.
From 16 July, 126 40-litre oxygen tanks and four 15-litre oxygen tanks have been distributed, officials added.
Tatmadaw has already distributed five oxygen tanks to the People’s Hospital in Khayan Township, five oxygen tanks to Thanlyin Township People’s Hospital, eight oxygen tanks to Kunchankone People’s Hospital, ten oxygen tanks to Seikgyi Khanaungto Public Hospital, five oxygen tanks to Kawhmu Township People’s Hospital, 40 oxygen tanks to Twantay Township People’s Hospital and Sitta Thukha Social Welfare Association respectively.
Next, a total of 22 oxygen cylinders were donated to the Myanmar Apex Welfare Association (MAB). And 35 oxygen cylinders were donated to other social organizations, officials said. — MNA
