Union Minister Dr Htay Aung attends CLMVT Plus Forum 2021

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Htay Aung, the Chairman of the Myanmar Tourism Federation and representatives from its affiliate associations attended the Accelerating a Resilient Recovery CLMVT Plus Forum 2021 yesterday morning through videoconferencing.
The forum was also joined by the senior representatives of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Viet Nam and Thailand, and trade partners and representatives from other ASEAN countries.
The forum discussed the analysis of the post-COVID-19 situation in the CLMVT member countries, sharing trade and investment knowledge, current and post-COVID-19 strategies for enhancing cooperation among the CLMVT countries and ASEAN Regional Cooperation Framework, and collaboration in the areas of trade and investment.
The CLMVT Plus Forum 2021 will be held for three days from 24 to 26 August via videoconferencing. On the last day of the forum, 26 August, a Startup Pitch Competition will be held to help start-ups use technology in the new normal post-COVID-19 period in the CLMVT member countries. — MNA
