As the nearest beach to Yangon, Hseaindan Beach has become busy again with visitors and holidaymakers. It is located in Kanyingon village-tract, Kungyangon Township, Yangon Region.
Most visitors come from Dala Township and Yangon. As this month is the Kathina Robes donation month for Buddhists, people from Yangon donated Kathina robes this year to the monasteries in Kanyingon village and they also enjoyed the beauty of Hseaindan Beach, according to a resident of Kungyangon Town.
“As the tide was up at around 10 am yesterday, visitors were seen swimming until the afternoon, and the donors of the Kathina Robes also visited the beach,” he said. At present, authorities are carrying out road repair work along the road from Lekkhokkon village to Hseaindan Beach, and when it is completed, the beach would be alive as before, he added.
With over 50 restaurants offering special seafood menus, horse-riding, speedboat and motorbike rentals, and the statues of mermaids, and exquisite sunset, Hseaindan Beach has been popular among lovers of beach, seafood, nature and sunset since 2017. – Pwint Thitsar/GNLM
