Myanmar beat Timor-Leste 2-0 for first winning match of Suzuki Cup

Myanmar national men’s football team shaped a 2-0 win over Timor-Leste during their second match of the ASEAN Suzuki Cup tournament in Singapore yesterday.
Myanmar lost to Singapore in the opening match but won this match and can still hope to advance to the next level.
The Myanmar team has three points from two matches. Team Myanmar is struggling to reach the semi-finals with two games left to play against the Philippines and Thailand.
Myanmar head coach Antoine Hey made a new line-up including goalkeeper Myo Min Latt, David Htan, Win Moe Kyaw, Hein Phyo Win, Suam Lamang, Hlaing Bo Bo, Lwin Moe Aung, Myat Kaung Khant, Hein Htet Aung, Maung Maung Lwin and Than Paing.
Both Myanmar and Timor-Leste played against each other to collect full points.
In the 14th minute, the Myanmar team got an icebreaker as striker Than Paing scored with a header.
After conceding the goal, Timor-Leste tried to counterattack and had seven chances to score, but Myanmar defenders and goalkeeper Myo Min Latt were able to prevent all the efforts of the opponent.
In the 50th minute, the Myanmar team garnered the second or winning goal, scored by team captain Maung Maung Lwin.
After that, the Myanmar team controlled the match and won by 3 points.
