The Reform Workshop of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in progress.

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Naing Oo presided over a reform workshop on better administration and capacity development of the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the workshop, the Union minister discussed better public services, the emergence of a proper administrative system to conduct operations faster, improvement of abilities of staff, effective departmental cooperation and set up of quality machinery in policymaking and administration sectors using references.
Then, Deputy Minister U Than Aung Kyaw explained the emergence of a strong institution and collective leadership, and the permanent secretary explained the ongoing and future work plans to draft a reform plan of the ministry.
The two-day workshop was attended by the staff of the Ministry of Union Government Office, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Foreign Economic Relations Department, while other employees of state and regional branch offices joined virtually. — MNA
