Myanmar nationals from abroad are welcomed back at various border crossings, and yesterday, a total of 200 returnees — 134 men and 66 women — came back home through Myawady, Kayin State.
Healthcare officials from relevant public hospitals and members of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps conducted COVID-19 tests and provided quarantine entry documents for returnees.
After explaining the instructions of the Ministry of Health systematically and officials from respective military commands provided necessary assistance.
The township administration bodies then escorted them to their respective places in passenger vehicles, and the infected people were confined to separate places to facilitate necessary medical and administrative matters, officials said. — MNA
