Ministries cooperate to bring back foreign investors in Myanmar

Due to the global pandemic, many foreign investors in Myanmar has suspended operations and returned to their respective countries in 2020.
As Myanmar has controlled the spread of the COVID-19 virus to some extent and factories and workplaces are now operational, these entrepreneurs are returning to Myanmar.
From May 2021 to January 2022, a total of 9,010 foreigners from 50 countries came in with relief flights and chartered flights and are resuming their businesses.
For the smooth return of these foreigners, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations has been coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and Population. It is also reported that relevant departments are assisting the smooth re-entry of foreign investors. — MNA
