Kachin State traditional culture troupe visits landmarks in Nay Pyi Taw

The Kachin State traditional culture troupe, who participated in the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee Union Day, visited significant places in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
First, the troupe visited the Myanmar Gems and Jewellery Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) and viewed the jade and gems, pearl, silverware and natural resources on display in the gallery.
The cultural troupe then visited the Nay Pyi Taw Hluttaw buildings, and viewed the traditional Myanmar cultural monument and 92 types of wooden crafts on display at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw reception hall and took documentary photos. During the visit to the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Hall, Pyithu Hluttaw Hall and Amyotha Hluttaw Hall, officials explained the functioning of each Hluttaw and the knowledge of Hluttaw affairs.
Next, the cultural troupe visited the National Museum, the Safari Park and the Defence Services Museum.—MNA
