Dockyard in Kyimyindine to be rented under B.O.T system

A dockyard business near Jaungwyne village, Kyimyindine township, Yangon region will be rented on a long-term basis under a B.O.T system, according to the Fisheries Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.
The dockyard in Jaungwyne village is 27.97 acres. Now, the Fisheries Department has invited the tender to business people to rent the dockyard for the long term under the B.O.T system.
Earlier, we didn’t rent the yard because it is owned by the department. Now, the tender has been called for via newspapers. Those, who would like to know more detailed information about the tender, can buy the application,” said an official from the tender acceptance and scrutiny committee under the Fisheries Department (Head Office).
The tender application form and terms and conditions will be available from 25 January to 25 February at No 36, Administration Section of the Fisheries Department in Nay Pyi Taw. The open tender can be submitted between 26 February to 16 March at the Fisheries Department (Head Office), according to the committee.
To rent the shipyard business to entrepreneurs for the long term, the open tender will be announced on 18 March at the Fisheries Department (Head Office), according to the announcement of the tender acceptance and scrutiny committee. — Ko Naing/GNLM
