Tatmadaw delegation attends 12th AMOM in Cambodia

The 12th ASEAN Military Operation Meeting (12th AMOM) was organized in Phnom Penh of Cambodia yesterday.
The myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun attended the event together with other Armed Forces of Cambodia led by Maj-Gen Pen Sokrethvithyea, while Brunei led by Brig-Gen Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Indonesia by Maj-Gen Syaffrudin, Laos by Brig-Gen Sonethong Keolokham, Malaysia by Maj-Gen Hashim bin Aman Shah, the Philippines by Maj-Gen Alex S Rillera Pa, Singapore by Brig-Gen Ho Kum Luem, Thailand by Lt-Gen Chitchanok Nujjaya and Viet Nam by Maj-Gen Nguyen Duc Can.
First, Maj-Gen Pen Sokrethvithyea of the host country, Cambodia, delivered the opening speech for the 12th AMOM.
Then, the leaders discussed the theme of Solidarity for Harmonized Security and the ASEAN Militaries’ two-year Work Plan (2022-2024) including other matters. Afterwards, the chairman of the 12th AMOM concluded the meeting and transferred the chairmanship of the 13th AMOM to Indonesia.
Then, the representative of the Indonesian armed forces made an address on the chairmanship of the 13th AMOM. — MNA
