The 19th ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting AMIM-19 in progress in Cambodia.

The Myanmar delegation with Chief of Military Security Affairs of the Myanmar Armed Forces Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo attended the 19th ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting – AMIM-19 held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, yesterday morning.
The meeting was also attended by the delegations from the respective ASEAN member countries and addressed by the Chairman of the AMIM-19 Director-General of Research and Intelligence of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Lt-Gen Hum Manith.
Afterwards, each country discussed their opinions on the topic “Solidarity for Harmonized Security”. Afterwards, discussions on the exchange of visits between ASEAN intelligence officers, the establishment of the ASEAN Military Intelligence Community and on the Joint Statement were held.
After delivering the concluding remark, the Chairman of the AMIM-19 handed over the alternate chairmanship to the leader of the Indonesian Armed Forces delegation, who will chair the 20th ASEAN Military Intelligence Meeting.
The meeting was successfully concluded by the leader of the Indonesian Armed Forces delegation. — MNA
