MoI Deputy Minister inspects IPRD works in Bago Region, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area

Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint inspected the Bago District IPRD office and library and met the region director, assistant director, township staff officers of Waw, Thanetpin and Kawa and staff of the MRTV retransmission station in Bago on 14 March. He also checked the IPRD office and library of Nyaunglebin Township and met the township officers of Shwegyin, DaikU and Kyaukdaga.  At noon, the deputy minister arrived at the Toungoo District IPRD Office and library and met the departmental officials and township officials of Pyu, Ottwin, Yedashe and Htantabin. On the morning of 15 March, he inspected the Toungoo MRTV retransmission station and met staff of the Yedashe IPRD office. He then inspected the Lewe IPRD office and library and departmental officials of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and Dekkhina District. During the visits, the Deputy minister appreciated the efforts of departments concerned for releasing information and conducting educative programmes in COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities and for the state stability and development programmes in addition to the performance of the government after the State Administration Council took State responsibilities. He also said that the set up of IPRD was upgraded and it is more responsible to carry out the office responsibilities of the region, state, district and township.          The staff should be proud of being the government employees and serve the duties showing loyalty. It also needs to cooperate with the relevant departments to produce the youths with proper characteristics and capacity to become good persons that the country relies on. He finally talked about the awareness of fire dangers and maintenance on office materials, books, journals and retransmission stations. — MNA
