Police seize drugs in some townships

The Anti-Narcotic Task Force examined the motorcycle driven by Sai Myat Min (aka) Tut Pi and Ma Amie Tun (aka) Ma Nge near the No (2) Friendship Bridge in No (4) Ward of Myawady Township on 14 March and found 1,950 stimulant tablets from them.
On 13 March, the anti-narcotic agents arrested Daw Tun Shin in Myeik (South) village of Myeik Township and seized 1,980 stimulant pills. Then, the police arrested Ma Thuzar Maw (aka) Pi Si Kway at her house located in Alalpine village in Myeik Taungkyway Village-tract on the same evening.
On the morning of 14 March, the police raided the house of Li Kway Chi in Naungbyat village of Innmaing Hokyan Village-tract of Kutkai Township and confiscated 1,400 stimulant pills. The suspects were charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
