Myanmar snooker player Aung Phyo selected to compete in World Games

Myanmar snooker player Aung Phyo has been selected to compete in the World Games in the United States from 7 to 17 July.
The Asian Billiards and Snooker Federation have selected Aung Phyo and several other players to compete in the tournament.
International Billiards and Snooker Federation and the Asian Billiards and Snooker Federation recently announced the list of players eligible to compete in the tournament.
The Asian Billiards and Snooker Federation have selected eight players to compete in the 2022 Asian Billiards and Snooker Championships in Qatar this month, featuring Myanmar player Aung Phyo.
Aung Phyo competed in the World Snooker Championships and the Asian Snooker Championships this month and won the joint third prize at the Asian Championships.
As a result, Aung Phyo is on the Asian Billiards and Snooker Federation shortlist.
Aung Phyo has been re-selected as Myanmar’s snooker player and will compete in the 31st SEA Games in Viet Nam in May.
The World Games are not a regular event for the Myanmar sports team but have competed frequently and the team will return this year after competing in 2009. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
