Mohnyin Central Prison officials give talks before releasing 20 prisoners.

On the first day of the Myanmar New Year, a total of 20 prisoners were released from the Mohnyin Central Prison in Mohnyin District, Kachin State.
The State Administration Council granted the amnesty in commemoration of the Myanmar New Year. Officials said that 20 prisoners — 19 males and one female — from the Mohnyin Central Prison had been pardoned for their peace of mind and humanitarian concern.
The delegation led by Chairman of the District Administration Body U Nyi Nyi Lwin encouraged the inmates.
