YBS buses are seen in downtown Yangon.

Action is being taken against 530 YBS vehicles which violated rules and regulations until their business licenses are suspended for one year, according to the Yangon Region Transport Committee (YRTC).
YBS vehicles which are collecting more fares will be suspended from taking CNG for three months, six months, and a year. The Department will review all passenger complaints and action will be taken if a violation is found.
It is learned that the YBS bus lines operating in Yangon city are currently violating set rules and regulations, such as collecting more fares and giving improper communication to the passengers. There are 113 YBS bus lines with over 3,000 buses operating for the passengers between 800,000 and 900,000 every day in Yangon. — TWA/GNLM
