Passenger buses are ready to transport passengers along Yangon-Bago (Kali) route.

The Yangon-Bago (Kali) passenger bus line, which stopped its services due to the rising fuel prices, resumed on 11 June, according to the bus line.
The bus line which started operation on 19 May with the use of five Daewoo passenger buses from Yangon to Bago (Kali) and vice-versa, made an announcement on 3 June on social media and its temporary suspension of services starting from 10-6-2022 due to the further increase in petrol prices.
“We use 10 buses along the route. If they transport passengers, their transport service will be cost effective. Otherwise, the bus line will face loss for prices of fuel,” said U Thein Win of Bago told the GNLM.
However, the bus company informed its passengers through the social network that it would resume the services without stopping at the request of the passengers on 10 June. The Yangon-Bago passenger bus line operate by just loading and unloading process without waiting for passengers, and passengers have to put fares in a box. The bus departs every 30 minutes from 6 am for Yangon, and those buses depart for Bago from Yangon every 30 minutes from 3 pm.—TWA/GNLM
