New special postage stamps to feature traditional costumes during Yadanabon era

In a bid to portray Myanmar’s cultural heritage, rediscover traditional costumes of men and women from generation to generation and draw the attention of the youth, Myanma Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue two new postage stamps worth K200 each at 9:30 am on 29 June 2022 (2nd Waxing of Waso 1384 ME), depicting the costumes of men and women in Yadanabon era.
The new series will be sold at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in each region and state.
To mark a special event, the postage stamps purchased at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay on 29 June 2022, will have a date marking. — MNA
