Nay Pyi Taw to feature international performers in Thingyan Water Festival

Entertainment and performances by dancers and singers from South Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and the Russian Federation are scheduled for the upcoming Thingyan Water Festival of 1385 ME, as announced by the Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee.
In the entertainment programmes of the 1385 ME Myanmar traditional Maha Thingyan Festival in Nay Pyi Taw, K-Pop singers from South Korea and artistes from Tavrida-Art in the Russian Federation will participate. Additionally, there will be water-splashing pandals from the PRC and the Russian Federation featuring entertainment programmes.
The Nay Pyi Taw Thingyan Festival is organized by the government to celebrate the new year, aiming to provide happiness for the public, including ministerial staff.
Local artistes have already been invited to participate in festivities at the Nay Pyi Taw Mayor’s pavilion and the walking Thingyan pavilion, according to the report. — ASH/TMT
