Bago Region creates 7,458 job opportunities

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win organized a Bago Region Investment Committee Meeting 6/2022 at the Taw Win Hantha Meeting Hall of the regional government office on 28 June morning.
The meeting discussed the rights and law protections for the investors in the region due to the increasing investment of foreign and local investors and instructed that the responsible person must supervise the projects to complete in time.
Then, the director of the Bago Region Directorate of Investment and Company Administration presented the process of extending the factory construction period for the BMB Steel & Accessories (Myanmar) Co Ltd, the Wellmade International Investment Co Ltd and the Xize International Machinery Co Ltd and the process of amending the land lease contract for the Sudey Industrial Co Ltd, and committee members facilitated the coordination in accordance with the rules and regulations.
Bago Region received investments of US$123.712 million from foreign investors and K9529.15 million from local investors between 1 February 2021 and June 2022, fostering job opportunities for 7,458 people. — MNA
