People’s Republic of China donates over 6 millions yuan worth of materials for COVID-19 containment measures in Myanmar

The handover ceremony of over 6 million yuan (over 1,752,000,000 kyats) worth of materials for effective response to COVID-19 donated by the People’s Republic of China to Kachin State government was held at Teng Chong City in Bao Shan Prefecture, Yunnan Province on 5 July. Vice Governor of Baoshan Prefecture Mr. Cheng Dejun handed over the donated materials to U Thaw Tar Aung, Consul-General of Myanmar in Kunming.
At the donation ceremony, the Vice Governor of Baoshan Precture explained the purpose for the donation and the Consul-General of Myanmar expressed words of appreciation for the donation.
The donated materials will be transported to Kachin State via border gate.—MNA
