Nationwide top-scoring students for 2022 matric exam visit Thailand, Singapore

Under the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, 33 outstanding students who excelled in the Matriculation Exam 2022 with the highest marks in the whole of Myanmar, made an excursion to Thailand and Singapore from 4 to 8 July.
The students accompanied by teachers and supervisors visited Thailand for two days and arrived in Singapore on 6 July where they were welcomed by officials from the Myanmar Embassy to Singapore. They were also treated to dinner at the embassy.
During their excursion in Singapore, they visited Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Beach, Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach, Universal Studios Singapore, Science Centre Singapore, Nanyang Technological University-NTU and Vivo City.
They explored the history of Singapore’s development and take a Singapore Flyer to experience the nightlight of Singapore. They also visited Mirror Balls between Fullerton Hotel and Asian Civilizations Museum, Merlion Park and East Coast Park, and the IKEA shopping mall. They returned to Yangon on 8 July.
In honour of the outstanding students who excelled in the 2022 Matriculation Examination in various subjects, the Ministry of Education, following the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council, arranged the trip to enable the students to have international experience and cultivate patriotism. — MNA
