Leading Organizing Committee on Variety Show for Diamond Jubilee Independence Day holds coordination meeting

A coordination meeting of the Leading Organizing Committee on Variety Show for Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 was held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
It was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, in his capacity as the Committee Chairman, Vice-Chairpersons of the committee Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, committee members and departmental officials, and the Chairmen of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Music Association (Central) and secretary of Myanmar Theatric Association joined online.
First, the Union minister said the variety show marking the diamond jubilee Independence Day will be held to entertain the people. The entertainment industry suspended due to COVID-19 health restrictions will resume. It is expected to hold the State-level variety show in November to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence Day which falls on 4 January 2023.
Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 is a meaningful and significant day as the sovereignty of the country has been preserved by successive governments for 75 years. Therefore, all should participate in holding the variety show.
Then, vice-chairpersons (1) and (2) of the committee reported on the event schedule, proper cooperation work without delays and an open-air theatre of the Nay Pyi Taw City Hall.
Deputy Minister U Ye Tint also clarified the time schedules for events, programmes and organizing of the sub-committee and working committee and the other participants coordinated the discussion.
The Union minister then concluded the meeting after giving proper instructions. — MNA
