Leaders of Ethnic Armed Organizations depart from Nay Pyi Taw

As Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations-EAOs, the PNLO, LDU and ALP delegations who conducted peace talks in Nay Pyi Taw left Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of 27 August. The PNLO peace delegation led by Chairman Khun Thurein, the LDU peace delegation led by Chairman Kyar Solomon and the ALP delegation team led by Vice-Chairperson Saw Mra Raza Lin went back to Taunggyi, Tachilek of Shan State and Sittway, Rakhine State, respectively.
The PNLO, LDU and ALP delegations were seen off by officials and members of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, ethnic people of the Department of Fine Arts, departmental officials and locals by holding miniature National flags and posters bearing: “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only the ethnic nationalities are in unity, stability, peace and tranquillity will be achieved” at the Horizon Lake View Resort, Nay Pyi Taw and the Nay Pyi Taw Airport. — MNA
