MoI closes photo shooting, editing training course 1/2022

News and photographs are interrelated and pictures are important in presenting news. It is also imperative that the photographer’s mindset is reflected in the content of the news coverage, said Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint at the concluding ceremony of the photo shooting and editing training course 1/2022 in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
He further said the topic of shooting and editing photographs was taught by external instructors in addition to indoor and outdoor shooting exercises. Instructors from the News and Periodicals Enterprise also gave lectures on the basic structure of news, the writing of news and news articles, online posting of news items and reciprocal flow of news.
The deputy minister exhorted the trainees to keep learning more improved presentation of photographs and to shoot quality pictures in line with the content of the news by using today’s technologies.
Then, the deputy minister gave certificates to a leader of trainees and viewed the documentary photos taken by trainees. The training was held from 6 to 16 September and attended by 20 IPRD departmental personnel in Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states.—MNA
