MoI launches No 2 course on documentary video editing, documentary photo shooting, news writing

Union Information Minister U Maung Maung Ohn inaugurates the course No 2 in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The opening ceremony of documentary video editing, documentary photo shooting and news writing course No 2 was held at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said the people are unable to identify the disinformation and misinformation on Facebook. The ministry is making efforts for the people to get the correct information.
Newsworthiness depends on the qualification of the media personnel. The trainees should present the efforts of respective ministries and how they are working for the interest of the country and people. They also should carefully learn the lessons provided by the trainers and share the media knowledge with others, he added.
The course will last up to 11 November and teach camera function, photo shooting steps, news video production, documentary video recording, news editing, news writing, online news writing style and do’s and don’ts for online news writer.
The training course is being attended by 46 participants from various ministries while there were 48 participants for the No 1 course opened in September. — MNA
