NSPNC holds meeting with working group of political parties

The meeting between the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee and the working group of political parties in progress in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The meeting between the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) and the working group of political parties was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre yesterday morning.
SAC Member Union Minister at the Union Government Office National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and committee members, leader of the working group of political parties Shan Nationalities Democratic Party (SNDP) Chairman U Sai Aik Pao and representatives of the working group participated in the meeting.
NSPNC Chairman Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and SNDP Chairman U Sai Aik Pao gave opening speeches at the meeting. Afterwards, they had an informal discussion on each point of NSPNC’s analysis of proposals concerning points to be amended in the 2008 Constitution put forward by the working group of political parties.
Next, the views from both sides were put on record and chairpersons of the NSPNC and SNDP made closing remarks. — MNA
