State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win warmly greets ethnic traditional cultural troupes and students in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

State Administration Council Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win cordially met ethnic traditional cultural troupes from regions and states at Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Camp and students at the Transit Centre (Ywataw) who arrived in Nay Pyi Taw to join the ceremony to honour the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day yesterday afternoon.
At the Gold Medal Hall of the sports camp, the Vice-Senior General gave encouragement to ethnic traditional cultural troupes of regions and states.
The Vice-Senior General, Union ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, U Ko Ko and U Min Thein Zan, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin, Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and Deputy Minister U Myo Hlaing presented Pathein parasols to ethnic traditional cultural troupes.
The Vice-Senior General inspected the hostels of the troupes and gave instructions to officials.
At the transit centre (Ywataw), the Vice-Senior General cordially spoke words of encouragement to students who will participate in the ceremony to honour the 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) Independence Day.
The Vice-Senior General, Union ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, U Ko Ko, Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and U Min Thein Zan, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Oo Lwin, Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Zaw Win presented Pathein parasols to students.
The Vice-Senior General and party inspected the hostels and mess hall of the students and instructed officials to arrange smooth accommodation and food supplies for students and fulfil their needs in time. — MNA/TTA
