SAC member inspects sites chosen for SPEI, University of Computer Studies in Myitkyina

SAC member Jeng Phang Naw Taung hears report on plans to build SPEI and Computer University in Myitkyina on 8 January.

Member of the State Administration Council Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Union Ministers and Chief Minister of Kachin State yesterday inspected the sites allocated for the Sports and Physical Education Institute and the University of Computer Studies that will be built in Myitkyina.
The SAC member accompanied by Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and U Min Thein Zan, and Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan visited the Pitawng Field in Mawphaung Village and inspected the sites for SPEI and the university in Myitkyina, and coordinated the necessary matters.
In addition, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, and Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan looked into progress of building a 10-lane swimming pool in Myitkyina’s Thida Ward. They also inspected the construction of a Futsal court near the swimming pool and the conditions for the upgrading Nyeinchan Thayar football ground.—MNA/KZL
