Union Minister U Thaung Han receives the Russian delegation.

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han received the delegation led by Rusatom International Network President Mr Vadim Titov from the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and Director-General Mr Andrey Rozhdestvin of Rosatom Energy Projects at 4:00 pm yesterday at Yangon Electric Power Corporation (head office) in Ahlon Township, Yangon.
The Union minister extensively discussed the pre-feasibility study process for the thermal power plant project, the investment for its construction, loan procurement for the project and further plans, MoU signed between Rosatom and local companies, and matters related to duration, potentiality and technology for the construction of the wind power projects.
The Union minister then gave commemorative gifts and took the documentary group photo with the Russian delegation. — MNA/TS
