Private businesspersons allowed to operate 43 jetties in Ayeyawady Region: MoTC

Forty-three jetties in eight districts of the Ayeyawady Region will be leased to private businesses by auction in the financial year 2023-2024, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
There are six jetties in Pathein district, four in Kyonpyaw district, eight in Myaungmya district, five in Labutta district, 10 in Maubin district, five in Pyapon district, two in Hinthada district and three in Myanaung district.
Private businesspeople, who are interested in the tax collection work of these ports in the financial year 2023-2024, can purchase auction forms from 1 to 17 February at the office of the Directorate of Water Resources and Improvement of River Systems Region 2 of the Ayeyawady Region in Pathein township. — TWA/MKKS
