Myanma Railways to operate special trains during Thingyan Festival

Myanma Railways is set to operate special trains during the Thingyan Festival from Yangon to Mandalay, Pyay, and Mawlamyine, and vice versa, ensuring smooth transport for passengers over the holidays. This information was provided by U Thaung Htike, chief superintendent of Yangon Railway Station.
Passengers are informed that upper-class tickets can be purchased up to three days in advance, while ordinary-class tickets can be purchased up to one day in advance.
Furthermore, Yangon’s circular train services will be temporarily suspended during the Maha Thingyan festival holiday. Regular circular train operations will resume after the Thingyan festival holiday. — ASH/MKKS
