MoIC Union Minister attends reception for Kuwait’s 62nd National Day and 32nd Independence Day

Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing and the Kuwaiti ambassador cut the ceremonial cake at the event yesterday.

A reception to mark Kuwait’s 62nd National Day and 32nd Independence Day was held at Lotte Hotel in Yangon yesterday evening.
Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Minister U Bo Htay for Yangon City Development, ambassadors and charge d’affaires from foreign embassies in Yangon, UN resident representatives and invitees were present on the occasion.
The ceremony was first inaugurated with national anthems of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Kuwait.
Next, Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing and Ambassador Mr Mubarak M A Aladwani of Kuwait to Myanmar cut the commemorative cake and took documentary group photos with attendees.
Then, the Kuwaiti ambassador hosted an honorary dinner. — MNA/TS
